Cooperative Missions Spreadsheet

What would you all say to creating a cooperative missions spreadsheet for those who are interested in sharing the burden of missions. I have a copy of one that I could link to that Wigginsmum developed when she played with me on USA2. Thoughts anyone???

  1. I think it's a a good idea to 'share the burden of missions'. But I could go either way as for the spreadhseet. The reason is that I think it adds red tape to something the coop exchange already does well.

The coop exchange works well for this purpose as it is. I have been requesting things I need for missions on the coop exchange, and it has worked well because we all want to help each other if we can. It's easy to browse through in-game instead of checking a separate spreadsheet. I think that works fine as long as the exchange doesn't get too cluttered - and I don't think it has yet.

To me, a spreadhseet would be worthwhile if the exchange becomes too cluttered. And then I think the spreadsheet should be a simple 2x2 instead, with farmer name / items needed - perhaps somehow divided into items needed for missions and items wanted for other things. I don't see the value of having the full mission details for each mission in a spreadsheet - that's available when you click on each person in the coop menu anyway, apart from the mission rewards. And if it's too complex I probably wouldn't check it as often as I do the exchange.

  2. To me, the sample is too complex. We have 20+ members so I don't think everyone will update and check it.

  3. I agree with ajoo. It won't work because we have too many people and I will be the first person to admit that I'm lazy and I don't have the time to update something like that.

I also don't think we actually need a mission spreadsheet because we normally use the exchange board or pm each other directly to request for things.

  4. I also agree, it will not work. It will need a lot of work updating on every changes you make. Sometimes it will create confusion as I sometimes just accept a mission if there is a spare slot and try to find items on the market to make for the mission (members dont have it). If I dont find the item by the starting date, i abandon the mission. Also I sometimes change mission if there is a better one pops-up.
