I have looking through the inventory available on the market to make organic pesticides/fungicides. Many of the ingredients are unavailable or not high enough quality. I can grow a few of these items myself (eventually) but if it would be profitable we could grow them and exchange them to make these pesticides/fungicides. I've made a brief list of some of the common ingredients below. I'm open to thoughts on whether this seems viable and willing to grow both Lemons and Garlic next growing season.
Org Pesticide
Lemon--Cayenne Pepper--Manure--Garlic--Bonemeal--Chicken Egg--Herbs
Org Fungicide
Organic Waste--Onion--Cornmeal--Cow milk--Garlic--Wine Vinegar--Lemon--Herbs
I don't thinks it's worth it to grow either lemon or garlic because you can't find any bones/bonemeal or manure on the market above 3*... so you'd only be wasting your own 7* lemons and garlic which could be used for other things.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you're only making very strong pesticide/fungicide for curing then you just need 1*.
Agree with Tami. At this game year, we can't find any 4* or above manure/ cow milk/ Bonemeal on market.
ReplyDeleteMay be, you can start organic workshop with making 7* mild Fungicide, as it only need Organic Waste, Onion and Cornmeal. But, quite hard to find enough 7* organic waste on the market to make it profitable.
Agreed with Tami. You don't need 7* fungicides/pesticides. We have VSOP and VSOF recipe. For this, we only need 1* VSOP/VSOF and that will cure any pest or fungi that infest your crops. Ie just do cure spraying rather than preventive spraying. To get 1* ingredients from market will be easier and it will save lots of money and endurance.
ReplyDeleteSounds good, thanks for the feedback
