Soybeans and Fishing
I was wondering if anyone in the cooperative fishes for a living. I don't, but I accepted a mission for Vodka (which is one of the alcohol recipes we don't have) and it calls for 8 Catfish and 8 sheep meat. I don't normally take fishing missions but this was for a recipe we did't have.

I doubt that anyone fish for a living but 8 catfish is doable, just take some time. i have a vodka mission too for 12 pig skin.
ReplyDeleteI have beening think of setting my farm on other server to do just that. Grow multiharvest and just train the main farmer to fish and gather, it will be interesting.
Last time, I had a worker with 8 fishing skill and 25 baking skill. I assigned him on fishing just for a check. He can catch 4x 3* fishes per successful catch without any tool.
ReplyDeleteBut, I fired him because I didn't need high fishing skill at that time and found the other cheaper 25 skilled baker to replace him.
I can trade you 60 rice for 60 of your soybeans, which I need to complete one of my missions, the rice is only around 20% fresh though

ReplyDeleteThanks folks...I'll put the beans on the exchange now. I was hoping to make some adv feed with it all, but had to go out of town and put things on hibernation. When I got back the growth rates seemed a bit too staggered I think and it might be too much of a commitment to try to grow everything I am and get it out by winter
ReplyDeleteI just realised that I missed watering one of my crops today and all my employees had already eaten 3 times today with no endurance left. I ended up having to fire one and hire another one for the endurance to water. I hired someone with 11 fishing and 11 gathering so I'll try to catch your 8 catfish for you.
ReplyDeleteBummer on having to fire them...I'm glad you got your internet stuff sorted out. 11 fishing skill is quite high though, maybe you can use the fish in your meat workshop.
ReplyDeleteOkay just found out that the next upgrade costs 18,000... wow. I think I'll have to do some serious planning before I upgrade to Veteran. I was concerned about the difficulty boost but spending that much makes me want to own a lot more land before I upgrade.
ReplyDeleteI leveled up to veteran only because I wanted more transactions. I still haven't gotten the 3rd house upgrade though. I was planning to get it this autumn but with having to hibernate for 7 turns my plans are all messed up.
ReplyDeleteI wish the 3rd upgrade weren't so expensive. I would understand if it were $12,000 because that would be double the previous upgrade... but $18,000 is almost cruel.
